Jasmine Cottage is something that you must “see to believe”. It is a 12-bed controlled access facility designed for the person that has Alzheimer’s disease or other Dementia related illnesses. Our staff has been given exceptional training to deal with the very special care that the Alzheimer’s resident requires.
Specialized programming offers many activities that provide residents the opportunity to experience an enhanced quality of life. Our family style dining, “life skills” areas and Snoezelen room add to the homelike environment and well being of the resident. The Snoezelen Room (Dutch for “sniffing” and “dozing”) is an enjoying and relaxing environment that stimulates all five senses, while our “Life Skills” areas are designed to encourage residents to remember a life that is both comfortable and familiar.
